Paderborn – Worldpay selects AEVI as a strategic partner to drive omnichannel payments in Europe. Europe’s number one payment provider announced the European launch of a new omnichannel payment solution: Worldpay Total.
The service is offered in collaboration with AEVI, a provider of global payment transaction solutions and marketplace for value-added apps and services. Worldpay Total enables retailers to offer their customers a seamless shopping experience across all sales channels, including mobile, online and in-store. The omnichannel solution will be available in 22 European countries. Worldpay selected AEVI for their excellent global infrastructure for point-of-sale solutions.
“AEVI’s platform is flexible, and works with a range of card machine vendors, which means we can offer our customers any Point-of-Sale device they wish to use in-store, along with great customer service and after sales support. Retailers will have access to swift, local, on-site support for each market they operate in, allowing them to run their businesses efficiently, and deliver a consistent shopping experience for consumers across Europe.” said Kevin Dallas, Chief Product Officer, Global eCommerce, Worldpay
Worldpay Total provides a unified alternative to the approach currently employed by many competing brands, which often requires working with different payment providers in different markets and across different sales channels. This fragmented approach not only drives up the cost and complexity of the rollout and management of a retailer’s international business, it can also lead to consumers feeling confused and frustrated. Worldpay Total enables businesses to work with a single global payment provider, which reduces the cost and complexity of providing a uniform omnichannel experience. Thanks to this solution, retailers can expand into additional territories and channels but still have a single view of payment data and their customers across their entire online, offline and international operations.
But the advantages of Worldpay Total are not just limited to helping brands tackle the immediate challenge of implementing an omnichannel system. The solution from AEVI will also play a key role in ensuring the customer payment experience offered by retailers keeps pace with rapidly changing consumer preferences. Worldpay Total gives merchants the ability to accept alternative payment methods across any channel, including point-of-sale when available.
“We’re very happy about entering into this strategic partnership with Worldpay and look forward to bring together a compelling omnichannel solution to Europe,” says Yohann Marnet, UK Sales Director at AEVI.
Brands across Europe have already begun turning to Worldpay to transform their omnichannel offers. Well-known brands like The Whiskey Exchange and PrioTicket, a ticket retailer, are already on board as customers.
